What happens in vegas, stays in Vegas right? It's Sin City, of course we're going to go wild and crazy! Haha no, not in my case. The two times I went to Las Vegas was for a family vacation, both to celebrate my brothers turning 21. Though I was under 21 and couldn't really do anything that Las Vegas is really known for (gambling, drinking, STRIP CLUBS---jk), I still had a pretty good time with my family. We stayed at both the Wynn and the Mirage hotel and they were both unbelievably beautiful and enormous. I don't know how many times I got lost going down to the lobby or trying to find my room. We never exactly ate out at a fancy restaurant since we usually chose to eat at the buffets. It felt as if I gained 20 pounds in just one weekend. We did a little shopping here and there, but it's true how everything there was twice as expensive. I have to admit my favorite part, besides eating, was watching the performance, "O" at the Bellagio. I couldn't take any pictures of the theater, but it was completely breathtaking. The coolest part was that it was actually a water stage. Basically, "O" was a water performance that had acrobats, clowns, dancers, synchronized swimmers, and so much more. There was never a dull moment throughout the whole show. If I could, I would watch it 10 more times. I know that there are many other shows and performances to see around the strip, but a lot of time are really expensive. The picture I included of the water show is performed outside of the Bellagio hotel. It's just a series of synchronized water fountains that go along with music. As much as it sounds boring, it's really an amazing site to see. But there are obviously so many people watching, it was hard to really get a good view. The last thing I wanted to mention that I recommend to anyone who's planning a trip to go to Vegas, is to visit the Stratosphere. It's just a very tall building that you can go up and see all of the Strip. They have a whole balcony for people to view the Strip through those little binocular things and take pictures. And believe it or not, they have rides up there! Like actual roller coasters. I didn't go on one myself because I already thought I was going to pass out just being at the top, let alone going on a roller coaster. While we were there, we actually ate at the restaurant up there called "Top of the World." It was really cool too because it would move and rotate around the building so you can see all the views around it. The food was absolutely amazing and it was just a great time to spend with my family. Overall, Las Vegas treated us well and I hope to continue the tradition and go back when I turn 21!
I know how it feels considering I was also under 21 when I visited. I can confidently say that you had more fun because I was around seven years old and don't really remember visiting. I too hope to be able to visit when I am older!
